We usually think of a basement as a dark place which could become a den of men but not the room of a teenager. Although Annie Selke was able to turn his basement into a teen-friendly room very bright and colorful. Her daughter is 17 and she chose to have this large space that become like a mini studio instead of the other room of the house. A lot of dirt was moved away from the foundation and real windows were cut. Thank you that much natural light flooding there and the room became anything but dark. Besides, a large number of different pieces of furniture and bright murals were used so that the basement is a very colorful and happy place to live.
